The benefits of membership include:

• An excellent reference and lending library of art books, videos and magazines.
• Monthly newsletter, that includes information from the art community.
• Art Demonstrations held monthly. Notified in each newsletter.
• Monthly meeting held 1st Monday of each month.
• Workshops are held at the societies studio

• Exhibitions, both open art awards and member only sales.

The society holds a Parramatta Foundation Week Open Art Awards competition each year to help celebrate the Parramatta festival. The competition includes a section for members only to give new artists an idea of competition requirements.

Membership gives artists a valuable information source of other art competitions. Support and assistance from other members is a great benefit.

The society offers a number of art classes. Workshops and mentored outdoor painting days are also valuable learning experiences for members, these being organised from time to time.

Life drawing classes are an opportunity to progress this skill in a setting that employs professional models.
