Where did you train?
Started training at the local schools Community Art Courses
How did your training influence you?
Made me realise how little I knew and how much I have to learn
Where do you get your ideas?
Roaming through the art galleries and exhibitions, Photographs, Artists magazines and my imagination
What artist or artists inspire you?
All artists inspire me, even if I don’t particularly like their style I am can admire their work and learn from it
What helped to shape you?
I am in the throws of being shaped, lots more to experience and to learn .
What is your favourite medium? Why is it your favourite?
I haven’t found it yet, I love acrylics and oils mostly for their beautiful results, I find pencil sketches very meditative and exacting, life with charcoal are teaching me to be loose to feel what you are drawing, pastels give such wonderful results in a short time, “so much to learn, so little time ” the experience it all.
What is or was you favourite piece? And did you keep it?
My first serious piece was a pencil sketch of a little old italian lady with glasses and more wrinkles than a than Pei Dog with eyes you could see have lived a full life.
