The Parramatta Art Society is the longest running art society in New South Wales,
being formed in 1951 by the then Mayor of Parramatta, Eric Mobbs.
 
 
 
Society membership activities include:
        • An excellent reference and lending library of art books, videos and magazines.
        • Monthly newsletter, that includes information from the art community.
        • Art demonstrations held monthly.
        • Monthly meeting held last Monday of each month.
        • Workshops held at the Societies Studio  
        • Plein Air Outings
        • Exhibitions, both open art awards and member only sales.
        • Art classes in a range of media and levels.( See tab above) 
        • Motor vehicle parking is available at the societies studio.
